The book does not descriptive honors its content. In terms of "tribulations of a Catholic family," it is far from a permanent reference to religion! A chapter takes place during the midnight mass, it's true, but nothing more. And the Mass is far from being the main subject The tone is light, playful and very colorful, fun to read. The pace is lively, removed. The adventures do not present a major interest, but they are fun enough to make them want to read the next chapter, short, fast and fantastic. Admittedly, this is not "a dime a dozen," but I would offer this friendly willingly book a girl of 9-10 years.
