The planner is generally slightly larger than A5 - logically but because therein A5 sheets are stowed. He provides for me ample storage / space to accommodate an all important documents and records in it. I use it for the university, have 4 main register and 9 sub-tab. The outer shell has a good quality, all seams are neat and there are no disturbing seam ends or protruding threads. However, there are only 2 large front & 3 small compartments - with a small A5 booklet will forward loosely place without disturbing - and the compartments are each separately for themselves. The delivered with pens writes great, no grease or the like.
My cons in this planner are: 1. the color scheme - all pickled leaves are held white-black-gray-red. 2. The tabs are "only" cardboard, printing ink and brown stripes tape (at least it works for me so) 3. the allocation calendar, because days are arranged vertically - and I prefer horizontally.
My Conclusion: If one wants to invest time to get the planner to make a very personal (DHZB new calendar pages print out to the tabs or the plastered. New from firmer cardboard tinkering) then it is perfectly suitable or okay.
