Deliverance (Explicit Version) (Audio CD)

Customer Review

After Timbaland Bubba Sparxxx has taken already in his debut "Dark Days, Bright Nights" under the arms, he took over the production almost completely alone for the successor "Deliverance". Only four songs are from Organized Noize, the rest, as I said, is of Timbo. Compared to the other duo consisting of producer-legend and a white rapper who is mentioned by Dr. Dre and Eminem, do not put the two heavyweights of Georgia and Virginia to the same old hackneyed bad beats and rapeseed, instead gets an innovation after the next. The productions by Timbaland are just great, probably he has never been better than here and Bubba can with a relatively simple flow Although, it sparkle with clearly understandable words in his career. The plate consists of a great mix of country mixed with Timbo's very electric beats what there is unfortunately much too rarely heard in the music industry.
Already the first song "Jimmy Mathis" is such a country smash. Equipped with a fast harmonica Beat shows Bubba Sparxxx here that he is an eloquent MC which kicks meaningful rhymes. Even better is the chilling "Comin 'Round". The instrumental consists of a funky beat, which is lined with typical instruments like violins or Country Banjos, which is easy with Bubba and the singers in the hook to a true sound bomb. Slightly somber and emotional impact "Nowhere", the somewhat reminiscent of Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me A River", which was also produced by Timbaland yes. At the end of "Nowhere" even the beat is of "Cry Me A River" purely mixed, which once again confirms this impression. Bubba raps here good, but not outstanding, but the refrain of Kiley Dean, the better. From the slightly harder and danceable variety is accompanied by wind instruments "Overcome", in which Mr. Sparxxx shows us all his Reportoire and fantastic rhymt. A song that now would really know everyone is the masterpiece "Deliverance". This track is simply more than awesome, what is owed Timbaland again. I rarely have an instrumental part that listen still comes after me dozens of times under the skin. It is a fantastic mix of a pleasant mid-tempo beat, backed by a guitar and a violin. In addition there Timbo's unique electro sounds, Bubba's thoughtful rape and Timbaland's super Hook. Unfortunately, the rest of the songs no longer have this class. "Hootnanny" (feat. Justin Timberlake) and "My Tone" even did not like me. But to convince the rapid "Take A Load Off" (feat. Timbaland) and chilled and slightly funky "Like It Or Not" (feat. Sleepy Brown). At the very end there with hit single "Back In The Mud" again a little highlight. The instrumental is damn fast and, to put it in simple words, just a freaky ear candy. These Bubba raps as fast as a machine gun and feature Sleepy Brown supported him well with his singing here. Other good songs there's also the quiet "She Tried" (feat. Ryan Tedder) and the relaxed "Warrant" (feat. Attitude and Timbaland).
Bubba Sparxxx 'second album was much better than the average only in my eyes debut. Unfortunately, he turned to the commercial failure of "Deliverance" the pop-rap back and renounced his extraordinary style, which is still very unfortunate. All who are on real and well-produced Country-rap, should access here necessarily. Such authentic plate is rarely found elsewhere.
