The comparison with the GooGooDolls or Matchbox20 is not completely out of hand, but go Vertical Horizon entirely their own way. Some songs appeared to me at first hearing something dudelig -'m usually more of a fan of somewhat harder things - but after the 2nd or 3rd listening I could not get enough of this CD. Wonderful and partly brilliant melodies, even if sometimes the allerletze Kick missing. Nevertheless, the album is great and belongs in every plate cupboard where also feel the GooGooDolls or Matchbox20 at home !!
