I have now bought twice rubber boots from Giesswein. Gross mistake, as it turned out. Like another reviewer I have these boots bought in the first place to go for a walk with the dog in bad weather. That the first pair of boots was leaking after a short time, I excused with the thought "Monday-boots", can happen even once. The second pair, which I bought about 1 year later, leak the second wearing !!! In the meantime was 1 pair above the foot, the front shaft broken; both boots !! And the couple I had certainly worn or not so 50 times. Now I was pissed and turned directly to the Fa. Giesswein in Tirol. On my first, really polite and somewhat helpless mail I received a brief email reply, said that one does not every couple can test and boots that do them harm, but you would like to see in the future a better experience with their products. Then me the hat went up and I wrote back immediately that I would have expected a constructive solution proposal and that their naivety was probably to beat hardly if you think that I do not have any experience of any kind with a Giesswein product in the future will. Now I got a reply, I should like to address the seller of boots. What !? I had long done and get my money back. Wake donors moderation but I was now quite furious, so I sent a letter (ie paper) to Austria to senior management. After some time, an answer came: "How is that sometimes, everything is up to you indeed gone wrong We know that we have received a lot of boots a factory where there were many complaints ... Blablabla.." Because of the reviews on this and other boots is to be assumed that Giesswein in this or comparable further bad - can produce manufacturers and therefore it would deserve that finally no one buys there - and probably cheapest. Anyway, I'll be in the future the finger from all GIESSWEIN products. Whether rubber boots, slippers, clothing, etc.
And as for the subject rubber boots: I have now bought a pair of Viking, which reduces have just tasted a lot like Giesswein. The seat is now perfect and the boots are still dense with heavy use. Summary: GIESSWEIN's a No!
