And the winner is: Kris Allen!

What have I cursed in those days, when the finale of the American Originals by DSDS - American Idol - ran. But somehow it was also to be feared. The US audience Adam Lambert has indeed carried to the final, then got but cold feet and chose the safe side, the boring, bland competitors bird of paradise, which also outed himself to all as gay, as if eh not across would be written handsome face (and it concerns something, moreover, anyone). America was not ready for someone who beats so completely from the kind that turns simple music an opera and a rock from a number GLAMrocknummer.

Now at last he brought out his first album and the title of the album says it all. I did entertain me. His unique voice is sometimes alienated pulled over the computer, sometimes very clear and pure. Its capitals, flourishes and high C's stagger through the music, it's a real pleasure. The style - indescribable.

The Albumöffner "Music Again" is just like "Fever" is a great tribute to the British Glamrockbands Sweet, Queen and Gary Glitter.

"Surefire Winners" and "Strut" are probably the two songs where you either a fan or Nichtfan. I find both titles insanely good, they are completely to my taste: wild, unbridled, a little strange and discordant at times, from major to minor alternately, a great interpreter of the challenging compositions demanding to have undoubtedly found in Adam songs.

"If I had you". "Whataya Want From Me" and "Pick U Up" is simple, straightforward mock pop rock, which would also go down well in all good Disco temples.

"Sleepwalker" and "Aftermath" I want to emphasize here separately out because they are among my favorite titles. Who saw Adams appearance at Jay Leno with the number "Sleepwalker", which will agree with me that this interpretation surpasses the album recording by far. Live he is simply unbeatable.

"Soaked", "A Loaded Smile" and "Broken Open" are great, flowing pop ballads, in the Adam uses his voice as another instrument that fits great into the orchestra. "Time for Miracles" appears as commercial, also for the reason, because it is the theme song for Roland Emmerich's movie 2012 - Emmerich knows what is good!

All in all, this album never boring, every song is a small compositional and vocal royal masterpiece and an explosion in my ear canals.

How nice that there are people like Adam Lambert, blessed with a highly talented, well-trained voice, with a great habit and interesting personality. American Idol was a size too small for him - welcome to the big, colorful world!

And I myself am looking forward to album number. 2

EDIT: On the occasion of the Europe-wide publication of his album plus four exhilarating new songs done here yet an addendum.

First, there's the maelstrom of "Voodoo", which I can never get enough. He is the hunter, I want the trash loot - so to speak. And a cure from the rapture's apparently not.

Hard beats roar in "Master Plan", a relatively simple knitted song, who knows how to impress with electronically distorted voices and surprising surrealist end.

The highly anticipated "Can not Let You Go", roars like a thunderstorm in breathtaking falsetto past me and only proves that I can not let go of Adam.

"Down the Rabbit Hole" - Welcome to Alice's world. Adams jotted question "Who are you?" I can not answer well. Adam Lambert is a chameleon with a thousand faces and more faces. With charm, sex appeal, eloquence and a lot of brains, he wrapped each presenter around the finger. He owns the undisguised, hard zügelbare passion and high musicality that one needs to be a giant.

And if he is still all the songs would again take up and publish in an acoustic version now - I would be the happiest person.
