One year after the furious Album - On A Storytellers Night - published with Magnum - Vigilante - already their next album. The fact that the band - On A Storytellers Night - the bar put quite high, namely so high that to this day still has to measure every new Magnum album with this "magnum opus", it had - Vigilante - of course very difficult to give since the band the courage the album a sound popigeren what you both on the first piece - Loneley Night - but especially on the two quieter songs - Need A Lot Of Love - and - When The World Comes Down - can hear clearly. Although to the album incredibly well-liked because of its excellent and socially critical lyrics, and with - Vigilante - also contained a song that certainly on the great predecessors could have appeared, the album was due to its Pop Art-sounds not quite as good with the fans on, which I personally found very unfortunate, because it's actually a very good album, on which with - is still a husky, but often completely forgotten song - Red On The Highway.
One can only wish that at the end of my review - Vigilante - will be released soon like his five predecessors in this great remastered edition, because the sound is similar to very modest in all first CD pressings.
