What I do not so is good, these are the extreme level values ​​of productions these days and in this CD the digital clipping you realize sometimes very strong, may be true that it is sometimes even used as an effect.

I like the not so much because the music so you can not breathe - but hey, finally, there is only this one version. You can use Replay Gain but this also comes back no momentum, only the volume level is lowered.

One star deduction for these extreme level values ​​(yes, I hear, can not help it). Limited not only on this album - everything shines in the same volume - and as loudly as possible. It can not be that all the same sounds loud - but no matter. Maybe it gets so again.

Replay Gain is precisely the sense to adapt the average volume - for films there is something similar, but is only a recommendation as far as I know - I've read somewhere.
