There is probably not to say except that it is one of the best soundtracks ever to this soundtrack. Shirley Bassey's "Goldfinger" is virtually has become a benchmark of modern Bonds and the masterfully composed pieces (like "Alpine Drive") convey calm and serenity. This is rudely disturbed when Auric Goldfinger and his henchman Oddjob emerge with his pompous theme and murder as bonds playmate by gold. The soundtrack has a very brisk pace, not least by the exciting showdown in "Fort Knox". Class remastered, great booklet with lots of background information and the best Bond of all time on the cover. What more do you want?
