Positives:
+ AF sits in 99% of cases
+ Sharpness from open aperture good
+ VR works very reliably and efficiently -> 85mm at 1/20 often works
Negatives:
- AF is quite slow
- Verzeichung at 24mm and 85mm is extremely pronounced (can be on the computer but easily removed)
- Focus ring could work more precise (only relevant for manual focus)
CONCLUSION:
Versatile and compact lens made of solid plastic processed at a relatively good price.
It is not a "panacea" and has its weaknesses:
- Dark viewfinder due to the small initial aperture of f / 3.5 at 24mm and f / 4.5 at 85mm
- No splash-proof housing
- Sharpness can not compete with that of fixed focal length of course
