What on the device but very disturbing is the inferior quality of workmanship.
From a German product in this price range certainly deburred edges or a clean guidance for the slider to control the air supply can be expected. At least one should think that. Both are not offered during Thüros Toronto. The edges are very sharp (what bothers especially when moving the grill), the plates for guiding the slide above are unevenly bent, so the slide can be permanently tilted and moved with much fumbling. This is very disturbing when grilling, as the air supply must be adjusted more frequently (eg heating up, temperature control, etc.).
Therefore I forgive 5 stars for the grilling result itself and a star for the build quality that meets the demands for a German quality product in any way. Overall, the result is sufficient so that for three stars.
