Question installation is quite simple if we proceed by following the installation video available on the grohe site. By cons there must be plenty of room under the sink to place the flexible water supply 3 + the electronic control box of the touch function. I also advise to connect the electric switch (the electric wire with the terminal) to the metallic ring around the tap * before * to fix the car instead can then make the very delicate operation (while forcing redémonter the tap ... )
If like me sink is not stainless and you do not have a nearby dishwasher to paste the conductor tape, stick it on the cold water inlet.
Finally if like me the tap activates automatically as soon as you touch the shower or faucet knob, know that this is not normal! It is therefore lower the tap sensitivity, these two areas are supposed to be "neutral"
To do this you press the "stop water" button for a long time, until it blinks, then each new builds it will blink 1 to 5 times) (3 times by default) so you press 1 once, then 2, and 3 times to make it blink 1 time only (meaning then we are at level 1 sensitivity which is the least sensitive) and then waits 5 seconds for the setting).
Another negative point, I will definitely install a small pressure reducing valve on the cold water pipe dedicated to touch mode, since the electric module opens water thoroughly and often too strong for the use I have ( it splashes ....)
A lovely toy so pricey (750 euros catalog) but I paid 350 euros thanks to Amazon pilulle therefore goes better (I would have never bought the catalog price for sure!)
