Good carpet cleaning, cleaning of the suction nozzles is somewhat cumbersome.

First experiences with washing suckers I made ten years ago in the US. Then immediately a vacuum washer Kärcher bought back in Germany. When he gave up the ghost in the summer of last year, I was looking for a replacement and am here found it. About a year later, is my conclusion:

+ The initial assembly after delivery was intuitive. In the instructions I have only seen when the part was already mounted all ready.

+ Excellent cleaning performance. Shown by a discoloration, the ingredients in the aspirated water.

+ A considerable suction power. Just for fun, I once put a few sheets of kitchen paper under the carpet before I worked twice with detergent and twice with water pure the carpet. The paper towel was dry :)

+ Transparent top of the nozzle, so that you can watch the sucked water currents and in places where a lot of water is absorbed again can go about it.

+ The water tank is almost completely empty. The remainder is really low.
+ Rollers run well even on carpet.
+ Plastic does not smell.

+ - But you have to build the entire device apart before you can clean the collector: the now empty water tank sitting above the collector motor, the suction pipe must be removed. The collection container is firmly attached to the castors, so you lift something this bulky part in its entirety, and the bathroom / toilet has to get to empty. After the pedestal itself is not particularly difficult. ATTENTION: during emptying should pay attention to the Saugschlauchloch to avoid flooding the bathroom)

Improvable:

--- The CLEANING of the suction nozzles is very cumbersome. As described above, the top of the suction nozzle is transparent. This is not only helpful to watch the rivers, you can also see when lint caught in it. Especially in a long pile rug of mine is getting a great deal of accumulated material in the nozzle, even if I have previously drawn extensively. To clean the suction nozzles, one must, in the case of bottom-suction nozzle first remove the rubber lips and then four screws (Phillips). It's frustrating! Too bad that the manufacturer has here no other solution, such as a folding mechanism devised.

Other:

Instead of the supplied detergent I use the frog neutral cleaner. Did I in my hydrolysis with Kärcher device so held, and it has not harmed my carpets so far. For particularly stubborn stains that are there on my bright upholstered furniture and carpets over again, I leave overnight something Gallseife act which I rinse the next day with clear water. Whether tomato sauce, red wine or stains caused by the dog: that has always worked. However, one should previously check the colorfastness on a little or non-visible area.

The volume I find tolerable. My four-legged friends can it not bring calm. But possibly was just my vacuum cleaner familiarization training very successful;)

It is recommended to flush after use all pipes / nozzles, so it is free for the next cleaning.

In short, I am satisfied. Should still show disadvantages over the years, the Rezi is of course supplemented. Per today, I would choose again for Extra2000.
