After prolonged nuisance because of my Grinder with blade knives I decided for Severin KM3873. Before buying I looked at several reviews, in detail, of course, the bad ones. Nevertheless, I have decided for Severin because I wanted to spend more euros in any case. Now I have it and am excited even after repeated use. The only "downside" is the static charge in the collection vessel so that a small part of the ground material actually ends up on the work surface (as described). For me, it does what it should - grind coffee and in various stages, from fine to coarse, depending on the setting. Meanwhile, I have me on the stage 4 (freeness) and position 10 (cups) zeroed in on the rotary switch, so I do not have to grind fresh every day. However, I feel that not having read the instructions all the review writers. So I could not find "Not suitable for Espressobohen", as once wrote. Page 5 of the instructions called even under freeness "1 for espresso machines". Also seems to me even the "Mahlgradskala" and the "ground coffee selector switch" has been confused to be (of course under the condition that Severin has not changed the model in execution). Conclusion: I am very pleased, however, hope that the nice piece not too soon gives up the ghost, as described on several occasions.
