I wanted this drive to replace an elderly slimline DVD burner in my HTPC chassis installed. Unfortunately, I realized that the shutter is about 1 mm higher and therefore was no longer free of play in the shaft. The media could not be ejected always without problems. I will now move to a SlotIn drive to work around this problem.
