We've had this coffee maker only a week and so far have been very happy with it. The coffee tastes just as we expected, as strong as with our old coffee maker. On one or two days we've had a bit of coffee grounds in the coffee, but this may be our fault if we have not cleaned it properly. The cord is very short indeed - the machine needs to be Placed very close to the electric socket - but at least then, you do not have a lot of cord tangled up with other electric cords.
