The intermediate rings are made stable, partly of plastic and partly of metal. I bought the rings for my Nikon D7000. The autofocus works as specified (with all 3 rings combined); However, the autofocus does not make sense, since the intermediate rings anyway just in the closest 1: 1 focal length magnification their purpose meet (Nikkor 85mm 1: 3.5G). The combination of all rings is rather unförderlich because the distance to the object is too tight (and even no longer ring flash can illuminate the object). Optimally I find the 36mm intermediate ring. For someone who Insketen, etc. still want to look at something greater, the intermediate rings are an inexpensive way.
