Maybe this info is indeed interesting for some: The foam is perfectly suitable to bolster the support of a baby carrier. I myself sewed a Mei Tai and the carrier designed extra wide and thick to improve comfort. The carriers have become ultra comfortable ;-) and my sewing machine could easily sew through the foam. The foam remains still (after about a month very regular use) in the form!
Generally it can be said that a density of 30 is a slightly better quality already, which is suitable for soft seat and back cushions (ie a bank or to cushion so). From a RG 35 already begin to quality couch cushions. Personally, I would use but more than 2cm thick padding for a bank.
