Good game, but too many compromises ... and starting problems

The game itself is a worthy successor to the Assassin's Creed series. Great graphics, lovingly crafted scenes, exciting story, very short charging times.
Great weakness in addition to the lack of freedom of choice of very slight difficulty which can not be adjusted. So Ubisoft probably wanted to increase the number of customers by casual players to be addressed. Unfortunately the gameplay is significantly reduced for more experienced players. Another major weakness are technical defects of copy protection software from Ubisoft (Uplay). This does not work properly, which leads to many players that the game will not start at all. That the Customer Service for offers no solution and only responds with automatically created mails borders fraud. Even after months of no patch has been released that fixes the problems.
