Good games, but no steering wheel, or only partially?

The game itself is good. The story I like and there are many side quests. The shift feature is interesting and good. The graphics are very good on my PC, do not understand what is wrong with it. I find it better than GTA 4 because the cars more "natural" look. In addition, the game runs very smooth, that one yes with shift flies over the city and the whole traffic is continuously calculated.

But no steering wheel or just a handful. How so? Does not make sense. I have asked for the support.
I was told that Driver SF supports no steering wheel, since it was not implemented. The cars would be uncontrollable and the Shift feature is not available.
I wrote out that are steering wheels on the packaging.
