1. The unit belongs mounted. Either it is screwed onto the Flight Yoke (where it then gradually in conjunction with the switch panel to represent a real obstruction to the monitor starts), or you have to somehow onto the desk. The included metal stand for folding is a joke. The whole instrument is so light that it is already pushed solely by the internal stress of the USB cable through the area. At the latest if you want to push a button or even operate the knob as described, you have to, as described, to hold the instrument.
Mounted at the Flight Yoke is OK, especially for up to three instrument panels side by side. As mentioned they may also be on or near the Switch Panel (or other panels, radio, etc.) screws, the imagination has no limits, just maybe sometime the view to the monitor ...
2. The thing is pretty hungry hardware. Least performance yet consumes the HSI mode, followed by the altimeter. All other modes, especially the VSI draw but clearly the frame rate down to my PC significantly to below the playability threshold (
Who this option was not available, which should carefully consider or try better yet, whether an additional instrument is really worth the reduced performance. In my view, one should then rather do without it, because a real advantage brings the thing - compared with the Yoke, the pedals or the switch panel - not. Only the knob to adjust the altimeter and the autopilot are a cool advantage, but really essential is not even this.
Who no hardware issues with the FSX has (there are so people?) Can safely access. Everyone else should the device, so possible first retest (or the solution with the second PC choose).
