Real lousy software. I chose because of the hardware specs for this NAS. The big problem with this system is the software. Visually this is similar to the previous millennium, which I but could live if they would work. Permissions lose before the action even though registered and functioned before. The biggest shortcoming is the functionality that does not exist as a Media Center! Although Kodi / XMBC is a system application, only plunges them understandable to me from. At the current firmware status it is not possible to play movies, photos and music I can not judge. At least DNLA works, provided a suitable playback. The real selling point to the slot in NAS via HDMI to the TV and play files or libraries exist only on paper. Thecus knows that for months and does not bring anything along.
Conclusion: Good hardware but which is worthless without good software. Would I buy it again: clear No.
