And I have not regretted the decision.
As with all Apple products, the keyboard is super chic packed therefore, truly a joy to unpack them. Everything is as usual protected with foil to prevent scratches caused on the aluminum housing.
After unpacking once smelled on the keyboard, because many have criticized the negative smell. I could no chemical smell find the keyboard smells just new, but not pushy or repulsive, but simply new. And this odor which was not unpleasant to me, lies even after a week use.
So then only the batteries need to clean (which are included) and are set to go. Hmm but where they are in, to find no flap. Apple has the total super redissolved because the 2 batteries are inserted laterally and sealed by means of stable screw. No ugly plastic flaps, where at some point something may break, great.
Even otherwise, the keyboard already made solely by the appearance, looks very noble. The size is very pleasant, you can take anywhere and robust it is. So I have the keyboard massacred several times, because I came by my clumsiness somewhere around during transport, but the keyboard has coped without scratches or the like.
Well when you connect the keyboard you have to be a bit more patient. Times the iPad is the keyboard immediately, sometimes it takes a while, but no longer than 30 seconds. The power button on the keyboard is attached to the opposite side of the battery compartment, including hidden pretty.
From battery consumption I've noticed anything negative. I use the keyboard several times a day (for a month) and keeps the battery, which I am also considered. If they hold out for 3 months, then I would be happy.
The situation is different from the iPad. If you use Bluetooth, then here the juice comes from a significantly faster. So you should get only the connection alive when you use the keyboard, or the power consumption is too high (certainly in the keyboard itself).
Typing on the keyboard is a poem. Super quiet and pleasant keys. The response is very good, even if you type fast, come to nearly every letter. I am only on puzzles if I sometimes forget a letter or does not arrive by the rapid Tap maybe one letter. But the margin of error is to my mind here really very low.
Some getting used to is the one or the other key assignment for me. When @ -Find I'll probably make mistakes again and again, as I am working on at home otherwise not work with Apple products, but this can probably get over.
The numeric keypad is no lack me. Otherwise, the keyboard would indeed turn out again bigger and the iPad itself has also not the one.
Conclusion: I do not regret having bought this keyboard. So I can mothball almost my laptop and me pleasure mini exclusively with my iPad. I can only express my absolute buy recommendation, especially since similar keyboards are much more expensive.
PS: I have the keyboard directly ordered at Amazon for 59, in my eyes adjust price and performance here together.
