The Sigma 150-500 ,, HSM lens is a good lens in sunshine and ideal lighting conditions. I use it with a Nikon D5200. In the lower focal Berich the image quality for the price is absolutely appealing. (Only amateur photography). However, one needs good weather and daylight to produce qualitatively satisfactory images because of the weak light intensity. In the upper focal lengths (from 400) the lens frequently tends to create a veil for me. The sharpness is there something in the basement. The autofocus works quickly and well. The Bildstabilsation is also reliably after a few seconds. Here it is important to give the stabilizer some time.
The weight is quite high and thus is photographing without a tripod (with me a monopod is used) but very tiring. For my purpose, the lens is but perfectly adequate (wildlife photography in zoos and parks). However, if a high-quality zoom needs and do not look at your wallet needs, should resort to fixed focal lengths or a higher-quality zoom lens. Price-performance is given into this case thoroughly.
This is part of a lens case and lens hood supplied, I find great and is not self-evident.
