Good performance under heavy particulate pollution

I have the Philips air cleaner for a few days in use. We live on a busy road with tram. By the exhaust gases and the abrasion of overhead lines, we also have a short time after brushing back a lot of dust and dirt particles in our apartment. Therefore, we use the Philips air cleaner mainly in the bedroom.

The first steps to the commissioning of the unit are easy and even then you do not have a long operating manuals roll, handling is largely self-explanatory.

An air quality sensor measures on the principle of ultrafine particle exposure in the camera of air and permanently signaled by a traffic light - blue, purple or red level - the air quality.
According to the load and their own sensitivity (three levels), the cleaning performance can be adjusted to different extents. The highlight is the sleep mode in my eyes. Here, the device is also very quiet and the display dims. At first I was skeptical because I am a light sleeper, but in sleep mode, the air purifier actually not interfere with sleep.

To date, we believe that the device has the climate in our bedroom actually improved. The air seems fresher and nose seem to be free in the morning.

The only shortcoming that I see currently: In small rooms, the appliance but relatively less storage space, which is the case with us. As "little brother" of the Philips air purifier AC4072 / 11 I had imagined the device more compact.
All in all, however, I am very satisfied with the device.
