What I like:
- The menu is simple and designed by self-explanatory.
- The battery lasts at GPS recording, actually the promised 8 hours (measured when cycling), even if between the warning "Battery Low" comes..
- GPS / heart rate and altitude data is collected without problems.
- The clock is still highly portable even after exercising.
- Data transfer to PC super easy. There is a removable disk or drive is detected and the data can be copied from the activity folder. The transfer into a special software (Sport tracks etc ...) works immediately.
- Rounds distances are selectable to 5 Km from some presets.
- Display is clearly
Not so good:
- Training options such as interval training, entering and leaving, etc. are missing, here is really only recorded. Such units are possible as well but by the lack of acoustic signals, the constant glance at the clock is required.
- The lighting of the clock can not be set in the Play Time and goes after about 5 seconds off again, what an evening purposeful training (common information rhythm by looking at the clock) can be very annoying because you always have to press the light button. Since the energy saving intent goes a little too far.
- No scan function in the display, so in addition to Pace / speed and distance, which are always displayed when recording, you must manually switch between time, heart rate and activity time.
Conclusion.
Anyone looking for a simple, well-made GPS clock and his running or Radrunden just want to record, and only occasionally performs intervals or the like, is really very good hands.
But who needs more comfort and trained mainly performance-oriented, should rather strike a number higher.
