Positives: The HDMI switch is conveniently small and requires no remote control and no external power supply.
Negative: When connecting the satellite receiver (Xoro) and the Blu-ray player (Sony), there were pictures and sound when only the Blu-ray player was active and a repair has played video.
Solution: When using two HDMI devices (three so far I could not test) needs the most used device (here a satellite receiver) are plugged into Slot 2. The least genutze device is in Slot 1 (here Blu-ray Player) plugged. Thus, the picture and sound from the Blu-ray player will be rendered once the Blu-ray player is turned on. The satellite receiver in Slot 1 remains turned on. When the Blu-ray player is turned off, the satellite receiver is activated automatically.
In this not very ecological operation (increased power consumption by the switched, but do not use a satellite receiver) there is no Übertrgagungsprobleme the Blu-ray player through the HDMI switch. This problem I have discovered in several recessions in identical HDMI switches.
