I print very little, most 1xDIN A 4 a week, sometimes several calendar pages on glossy, no business mail.
For me were crucial:
-no multifunction device (I have everything ext. in operation)
-5 Separate ink tanks
I took the unit into operation, the small supplied cartridges were of course already consumed in my startup checks.
After reading some reviews on Amazon I use now only the cartridges of Best-USE, satisfying my applications thoroughly.
I turn on the printer after each print manually, turn on immediately before the next print job and ignore the error message when you restart.
It is so far very little to cleaning operations. If the print quality in rare cases now subside, the cleaning process start manually.
This process may seem amateurish, but I stick to it.
A positive point is still the quiet printing mode for me.
When I'm really late evening prints something, my wife does not wake up.
One disadvantage I see again the great design, this non-multi-function printer.
Why can only build such huge things at Canon, this is not even an A4 scanner!
At least the monster is not rectangular but tapered at the back a little. Thus, the device fits space-saving still my niche and thus on the desk.
According to my experience so far I would buy the unit back
