Installing the supplied software "Cyberview" ran smoothly on my computer with Windows XP. Here, the scanner works without problems. The situation was different with me with the installation on a computer with Windows 7 (64 bit). Here the installation prepared (in accordance with regulation procedure) but significant problems. After the software installation the scanner after endless tests but realized the scanner hangs performed 4-5 scans on repeatedly. The scanner must be turned off, so that the software can be restarted. I run the scanner therefore on my "old" XP machine. The scans themselves are good. In particular, the hardware-based correction of scratches and dust particles justifies the price. Because of the problems with Windows 7 only 3 stars.
