Good start rail for macro applications

For the price, this is a very beautiful and sturdy rail. The movement is not super smooth and I suspect that's why it's a cheaper macro rail. Yet but this track seems very solid in the hand and works well. There are two camera mounts that goes into practically depending on required distance from the subject. All in all this is a pretty versatile little tool that everyone should have a photographer. This is for use with a tripod, and make sure that you can pod to hold a little weight. Things tend to get obese near the end of the rail. When shooting at an angle at maximum length, this track has a tendency to make my tripod collapse of all the weight. But I use a lot of lenses and a ring light. Maybe I just need a better tripod.
