Like others, I noticed that the "rolling" side disappears very quickly. In fact, you really have to be very careful, do NOT use scratchy sponge, even very sweet, and never overheat. I caught the damages by gently heating the oil in the pan. I then allowed to cool and poured oil and then wiped with a paper towel, length. Thus I found a clean coating. As against the sliding side has faded very quickly, now all glue and it is a real hassle. I think the manufacturer should give clearer explanations for the use and maintenance, such as: the first vacuum use with only a little oil, then try to soft, not scratchy sponge, etc. ...
