I've tried both the Stanley and the Wiha Stubby, both are good products and so saw I can understand the other positive reviews well. However, the Wiha my opinion a serious error and that the magnet holder is good for nothing, which is simply too weak! So I was working on overhead skylight and the retreat hung the bit in the screw. Mind you a new screw, neither rusted, filthy still jammed. For testing purposes, I then pulled the bit several times by the magnetic holder and the force required to release the bit is minimal. I find here Wiha should make improvements.
Otherwise, I can only say positive things about the Stubby. He seems well made, has also has a smooth, non-slip surface and is therefore a tacky feel and fits comfortably in your hand. Weight may vary depending on the content, without bits it is lightweight, with a full magazine in turn quite heavy. This can be divided according to taste therefore. The supplied bits also make a good impression and the magazine seems to sit quite firmly. Light difference between the two stubby, the Wiha has a buckle, the Stanley a screw. The Kunsstoff used, however, is quality, so should not wear through ease of use for both. However, since the screw has no protruding parts, I think that this is ultimately more robust. Otherwise, there is the Wiha Stubby yet, which is handy in various versions with different Bitssätzen for people who have no home lying around an entire set of bits.
Conclusion: the weak magnet is really the only negative thing about the Wiha Stubby, but ultimately crucial for me, which is why I have decided for the Stanley Stubby. Although this is a bit longer, but otherwise equivalent and the bit will not budge.
