Two criticisms regarding smaller smartphones.:
(1) 4 "smartphones the Samsung brand (tested with S3 mini, S Duos 2) must be trapped with a few mm from the stop, otherwise the lateral jaws depress the lateral loudspeakers / Quiet button on the unit. It does not help the Smartphone vice versa (ie "upside down") to fix the bracket. These smaller units are thus exclusively held by the two lateral clamping jaws, not additional, as originally planned, due to the terminal stop. In practice, this works for me so far, but optimum compatibility is not just given.
(2) The Speaker of the mentioned small smartphone is hidden by the holder plate - one understands the announcements well, but they are somewhat muted.
And one more general remark: The maximum deflection angle of the joint of the bracket is tight, which limits the inclination of smartphones upwards. For particularly flat windscreens the angle so perhaps undersized.
