This book is very comprehensive, it brings together classic recipes, recipes of the world, sauces, cocktails, step by step to make its own pasta, etc. Nevertheless, it lacks some "classics" in my opinion, as macaroons, which have become classics of pastry. Also some recipes, for lack of space I guess because sometimes 4 recipes gathered over two pages, are not fully explained, and for a beginner this can sometimes interfere. Also the weight of the book is not a negligible element! It is very heavy so hard to take it anywhere and place it on the kitchen table next to the work plan for example. But for a beginner this is a cookbook excelling
