The band Breitee ranges from the 60s ("Sunny" by Bobby Hebb) over the 80 ("Howzat" of Sherbet, "Born to be alive" by Patrick Hernandez, "Eighteen with a Bullet" by Pete Wingfeield etc.) and the 80s (eg "Precious Little Diamond" by Fox the Fox and "Hey you" of the Rock Steady Crew) and 90 (eg §ake up boo "by The Boo Radleys) to the new millennium (about" A Thousand Miles "by Vanessa Carlton or "Butterfly" by Crazy Town). Particularly welcome are some originals of songs that are well known in cover versions ("Sunny" by Bobby Hebb, "I can not stand the Rain" by Ann Peebles or "AIE" of Black Blood, the original of the 2010 World Cup Hits "Helele"). As always with "Ulli Wenger's One Hit Wonder" is a detailed booklet again full of interesting information about songs and artists. We learn for example that "Sunny" by Bobby Hebb in the wake of the assassination of JF Kennedy's was, and that to the dancers of the Patrick Hernandez in 1979, the young Madonna was ... This double CD is a worthy conclusion to the excellent sampler series "Ulli Wenger's One Hit Wonder".
