However, the soundtrack of his life created Rózsa doubt for the classic, established in 1959 epic film "Ben Hur" (Ben Hur [Special Edition] [4 DVDs], Ben Hur [Blu-ray] [Collector's Edition]). For the equally monumental composition, where he had worked for a year, Rózsa won his third Oscar (his life, he was nominated for a total of 16 Oscars). The partly religious, partly foreign-Oriental atmosphere and the equally brutal as triumphant world of ancient Rome are always musically profound the composer, but doing so incisively and vividly set out in opulent sounds that additional movie pictures hardly needs to understand the action.

A comprehensive, imaged booklet in English makes this great double CD completely.
