1. too large (11.6 x 7.4 x 6.6 cm) of his pockets and even coat pockets, in my opinion too heavy (558 g incl. Battery and memory card)
2. for the price low video quality (as with most cameras big problems with aliasing and moiré)
3. does not offer the best value for money (my recommendation: Sony DSC-RX100 or Canon PowerShot G15)

5. viewfinder just as expensive, but probably after all the high quality products available (not in my possession, because I personally do not necessarily need it)
Reasons to Buy:
1. for a compact camera very good picture quality even in low light
2. very flexible focal range (wide angle to moderate Zoom) - especially in consideration of the aperture of the lens and the size of the camera sensor
3. carry no problems getting in (business) luggage, without losing much space
4. In my opinion is much better in the hand than smaller cameras like the Canon PowerShot S120 or Sony DSC-RX100M2
5. excellent material quality and processing
6. Vertical folding touchscreen display
7. WLAN and NFC support
Conclusion: In my G1X Mark II, I do not want to do without. Cameras are also a matter of taste and this corresponds to my. It is an integral part of my business backpack and the ideal complement to the iPhone 5S (Mobltelefon with good camera) which I've always really doing and my Canon 5D Mark III (professional SLR camera), I would take only on special occasions. I decided on the purchase against the also excellent Sony DSC-RX100M2 because unfortunately this only covers a smaller range of focal lengths and to me personally is already too small and not enough grip. Those looking for a camera that certainly surpasses many entry-level SLR in terms of image quality, while being much more compact, is right here. This is true at least if one is prepared to pay a premium price for a premium product.
