Hardly noise compared to "normal" compact, lighter "Look through the viewfinder" which almost always missing else, good zoom range, great display, Class extensive lightning ... battery quite persistent ...
Her:
AF often "not unerringly" well within the specified Entferungsbereiche, permanent nuisance = perceived "eternal" memory of time at JPG & RAW at different SDHC cards (10). The "best" compact lacking in my opinion obviously a data buffer! -. At Amazon, my dealer No. 1, there are about 3 months after launch still no II. batteries to buy what for anyone who wants to vacation in the meantime / wanted a scandal! A firmware update is more than appropriate, but is slow in coming.
Conclusion:
If the shot succeeds determines the image quality that is correct well (!), Thanks to the large sensor. Camera something large, the design resembles a little too much of Cannon G11 / G12 to be a stand-alone NIKON, very flat housing, hard, valuable. NIKON seems to me fully to rely on the advantages of large sensor and besides, many other aspects significantly hired later.

In mid-December 2010, there were a new firmware. These can be installed very easily. With the new firmware the AF is now properly, and the Abspeicherdauer in JPG + RAW is acceptable (felt halved). If one is annoyed not everybody 3. Focus and each time triggering via its camera, you can see them after a certain time in a very different light. NOW after the update I feel my decision to buy right!
