switching on is easy: reading, recordings, gadget: photo-display jpeg format; everything is functional without difficulty in actual use. a black point though: it can not save something other than what comes from its tuner: no satelite channel broadcasts registration or other personal recorder; okay but you need to know before buying ... which was not my case. hence the important point, however given: DVR ... TNT. Another thing: it will buy a hard drive and more (there is very good at 50, 60 with sufficient memory). purchase non-regretted however.
