Once I'm excited completely from Volume 1, I now have my very small piano students ordered Band 2 (4 and 5 years), to look before, how to proceed and whether one or the other piece of my older students is. Also Band 2's great opened, suitable for children illustrated (not too much and not too little), the size of the score like that. The design with puzzles and especially the interweaving of music theory and vocal accompaniment, a composer portrait and improvisation like very much. What I miss are just a few more nice sounding classical pieces. I'll also have to add this school out of my "Fundus". The claim of this school is a wide range of different styles, but I think the Classic is a bit too short. What surprises me, is that early rather complicated things like chromatic scales are introduced, and the Fingerüber- and -untersatz is developed early and then occurs in the piece. Nevertheless, the support pieces are then somehow very simple, very simple, and they do not sound like much. Of course, there is the accompanying voice of the teacher or from a CD, but the great thing about playing the piano's just that you can do alone and nice-sounding music. All in all, still a great school, which I will also use, but just with small drawbacks.
