The box of an Energy Meter (Conrad (Volta Craft) Energy Check 3000) and then connected to 220V.
The box turned on and set to +5 degrees. The ambient temperature was 22 degrees.
After exactly 11 minutes had reached the set temperature of +5 and the Energy meter never went beyond 48W.
The manufacturer Cool Mobil indicates approximately 35W. But when he calculated that he conceals.
I think that is consumed significantly more during cool down and the 35W refers to the attitude of the set temperature, which is also dependent on the site.
In cool hull in Norway Winter is the box jump less often to maintain the set temperature, as in the 40 degree hot RV noon under the Spanish sun in the summer.
After the weekend I'll furnish any accurate consumption data for 12V, as these are more important than the 220V consumption data.
After reaching the set temperature, the compressor switches off and it goes down another 1-2 degrees. It may be, but this is true only in the empty box, because the cooling walls after the compressor shut off yet recool and no food / drinks can absorb the coolness.
The ammeter shows me here still a small consumption of 0.05W up to 0W. Sure, the Electronic needs some current even when switched off compressor. So you can say that the box does not consume any power when the compressor is not running, because the 0.5W at 12V would be just 0.1 Ampere, as ridiculous 100mAh.
The running noise is a normal fridge very similar, only much quieter. In absolute silence sensitive individuals are not able to sleep next to the box, but with a few meters distance it is as good as not to hear. I am amazed that the compressor is so powerful and quiet. But the sound is not unpleasant. a very slight noise and a hum that comes from the compressor.
Do not interfere with the sound and I could sleep next to it. ;-)
The displayed temperature should correspond to the temperature in the center of the box. So I'm assuming that either the temperature sensor is installed in the lid or in the ground.
The display permanently shows the actual temperature, not the one that has been set. I have never test -5 degrees and leave the box as far as cool. It's now been almost 45 minutes and she shows me still -2 degrees. But usually we all know what has been set for a temperature.
The box offers three different battery protection / Batterieschonmodi for 12/24 Volt. One can High, Med and Low Set.
These three modes include different settings when the device switches off and back on when the battery voltage drops or rises again by charging.

For 24V other values that I do not want to mention here, since most people safely operate this box with 12V apply. The data for 24V stand but in the manual there.
Furthermore, you can still change the temperature display from Celsius to Fahrenheit.
What I do not like is the cover, which has about 1-2mm game. Although he attaches securely and there is a small sealing tape in the cover, but I can 1-2mm lift the lid and he Speil in the engaged state. Whether the now big effect on the cooling capacity / efficiency, I doubt it, but it's something where you could make improvements.
The second point is the protection of the display. There no Plexiglascheibe sits between, but only one kind thicker film. For a mobile box that is a little too thin and unstable.
Otherwise, I can not complain and will test the weekend neatly on the 12V rail, the box.
I am particularly interested in whether the box has an automatic switching between 12 / 220V. So a Vorangsschaltung.
Is 220V at, the box runs with 220V, 200V are no longer available, the box takes the 12V. So you can connect both cables and sometimes applying and Stoppers to shore power to the box is no longer about the valuable battery power, but more than 220V

Now on weekends, the box was on the boat in action and unfortunately my initial enthusiasm has given way to disillusionment.
I had taken a large bowl with cottage cheese on the boat and they stood on bathing icebox. Above were a couple of drinks.
It was planned to realize a bonfire with delicious baked potatoes with cottage cheese for 7 people on the weekend.
There is only one temperature sensor in place and this seems to be built into the center of the bottom of the box.
The feature has the negative effect that accumulates between glass bowl bottom the cold and there sure the displayed temperature of 5 degrees was, but I was wondering which would not be cold drinks. I put a thermometer on the covered bowl and there were 15.4 degrees at 22 degrees outside.
What should I do now? the Quark rausnehmen which until the next evening would be bad then safely or without cold drinks ...
I turned the temperature down to minus 10 low and then I had the top of the glass bowl 7 degrees and probably was at the bottom of the bowl Quark now frozen.
The next day, people came and brought a lot of grilled sausages and meats with and despite a good Tetris game, I did not get anything in the box.
Here now failed the box completely and did not get cooled down the food. The thermometer showed after 6 hours still 15 degrees to 20 degrees outside.
Since we wanted to eat everything in the evening, it was not so tragic, but after two days I would not want to eat the meat and sausages.
As the box mercilessly failed in full equipping and also their design has Nachholungsbedarf I subtract a star here.
Because of the low set temperature, the compressor was of course at the time and has been consumed electricity.
Otherwise, one can say that the power consumption and the volume (on a boat quasi inaudible) and the cooling is good if you only have a few things in the box as 2 yoghurts, packing sausage for bread and two or three bottles . drink But if I really need such a large box for the amounts that was once an open question.
These quantities I had on my Peltierbox cools get, though not so quietly and with a higher power consumption.
Two further sensors (Cent article) and the average of all the sensors would be optimal. However, only one block to the ground just leads to cold storage and the rest stays warm and at full box in a virtually non-existent cooling.
The manufacturer should still make improvements.

Tested at compressor is running, the transition from 22ß to 12 volts without interruption. The compressor will continue uninterrupted.
From 12-220V the Kopressor switches off and goes after about 4-7 minutes if needed again.
So you can now connect both cable and if you have shore power to supply the box from the 220V mains.
