Now for the Soundsticks itself. It was not until I heard about the Soundsticks sample my iPod and I was blown away by the sound spectrum! The bass had a lot of pressure and also the high places were clearly reproduced. At home, I then connected to my laptop, but here was the sound rather poor quality. This does not change my enthusiasm to Sounsticks per se, since the only shortcoming is due to my poor audio output of the laptop. There are of course differences from manufacturer to manufacturer. Nevertheless the iPod a dream!
Meanwhile, I have connected the sound sticks on my Philips FPL-7603D LCD TV and am very very happy! The sound in direct comparison to the built-in TV speakers is audibly. The TV speakers sound blächernd and boring. Join The possible answer the boxes via the supplied connection cable to a game console is very useful, but is done this with me by itself, because the sound goes through the input on the TV via the output of the sound sticks.
The unusual design has fully and completely convinced me and the blue-glowing subwoofer perfectly matches the Ambilight on the TV.
A small deduction I have to give, because the volume can be adjusted only at the right box and not with the remote control. But actually there are PC speakers, but the uses are much more than that.
I would recommend this 2.1 speaker system each!
