The subwoofer consists of a MDF cabinet with rear bass reflex port, which should be positioned away ideally 15-25cm from a wall. The cover is not removable. Due to trim it all looks very pleasant and high-quality. While the body of the subwoofer is matt lacquer, the body of the satellite has been well coated with some sort of film, at least it feels different. The edges are made clean, the satellites are recesses for hanging on a nail on the wall. Only on my subwoofer is an unattractive lacquered body with less ink coverage, but this is barely visible.
The control unit is installed together with the amplifier in a separate housing which is stable and looks very chic. The control buttons have a pleasant and clean pressure point, the dial has a pleasant detent and is working accurately. The rear connections are very clean and just used the large and easy tactile main switch is useful placed and easily accessible from the front. Front right at the height of the display contains an AUX-IN and a headphone output.
The remote control is flat, strangely, has four volume keys instead of two, and leaves nothing to be desired in terms of settings, there are all functions to operate with the remote control.
The cables are not the thickest, but meticulously crafted and long enough for a moderately large rooms. Small drawback: The cables are permanently installed on the satellite, can thus be no soldering failure occurs, replace nothing.
The lighting is pleasant and not too intrusive, the display for volume and selected setting is easy to read even in the dark. In standby only two bars appear on the strong heruntergedimmten volume indicator, it becomes so do not even deprived of sleep.

2. Sound Quality
Who expects intersecting bass even at low levels, is not happy with this system. The vote of both the amplifier and the speakers is clearly designed for a natural reproduction. Particular benefits of the reproduction of speech and differentiated sound effects. The playback of music rises and falls a bit with the bit rate of the starting material. Interestingly, the basic level is much higher than for playback via the analog inputs for playback via the optical input. The ups and downs are very well worked out, the centers are very ok, but more is in the price range also not there. A special praise goes to the really excellent amplifier which drives the subwoofer and satellites perfect. When switching not crack, there is virtually no noise with no input signal and the electronics will remember even after the main switch, the last settings.

3. Accessories & Packaging
The system comes in a beautifully designed box, there are remote, a rudimentary instructions and an optical and a jack-RCA cable with. The manual is quite enough, despite their scarcity because Edifier has kindly labeled the connections to the components model, since it falls short indeed for all other manufacturers most. The included cables are well crafted and executed precisely, which is not always given especially when optical cable with on the market cheap cables (eg AmazonBasics). Make quasi represents an addition to the value of 12-15, which is not to be despised. To give just this system is thus excellent as the donee then not has yet to buy any any connection cable and can look forward to great sound directly.

Conclusion:
The differentiated tonal analysis can be read in test reports, but there are readings. Subjectively, I am convinced that there is no better system for the demanded money. Realistically, the system competes with the supplied accessories priced with the 60-80 class and is this sound, functional and visually far superior. Those who want better sound for an area to 25 square meters size, far more money has to put on the table and will then hear any big difference. I am glad that there are probably at least one producer with the Edifier, resists the trend towards bass monsters with otherwise mediocre sound and for demanding ears, let's see news on TV and even want to get no ear cancer, placed a great deal.
