First, the story is original. This is the story of Travis Chase, a guy who spent 20 years in prison and ends up taking the air in Alaska. By chance he came across a wreck of a 747 where he finds strange things. Following the instructions left by a deceased passenger, he will find himself in the middle of a half way between Jason Bourne adventure / X files / Warehouse 13 ... And for the working girl in me, he even has a great story love.
Then, the story is a suspense. Each chapter is short and almost every chapter ends with a cliffangher.
The characters, into the bargain, are relatively credible (at first I found the character of the villain very cartoonish then I understood) and their interactions are interesting. Writing in default to be revolutionary is very fluid. Everything is done so that this book is like whey drink and devour in one sitting. Good thing the other two volumes are also available in English, the second of which I intend to read quickly.
Small flat, sometimes it's a little (lot) preposterous, but that is what makes the charm of this spectacular novel (where the intimate scenes, however, are essential).
