So we have a "Bird-of-Prey" from the movie "Star Trek - Into Darkness", with Kirk, Uhura (+2 phaser guns) and two Klingon (pistol and Bat'leth).
In the aircraft / spacecraft fits a figure and in the cargo hold Batleth and / or gun. Behind the cockpit is an indentation where the luminous stone sits. When you walk in there pushing the cockpit light up red. The wings are fixed with 2 rubber ball joints per side. Missiles are located on the wingtips (per side) that are fired by pressing the shutter button.
Now the problem areas:
The ball joints hold the wing barely. At faster "maneuvers" to the joints, the wings do not hold it in position - lift the wing or will not subside too strong, but clearly enough! In my opinion, the blades are too hard on the joints.
The design of the Bird-of-Prey does not match the model. The structures on the wingtips would be under the wings, not on top. The ship would have a total of slightly larger (yes, I know that the toy company because always have to compromise, but bit bigger would be better) - in the film therefrom even Klingons have roped, but here just fits times a with difficulty into the cockpit ( the figure is half).
But the minimalist design also reduces the price ......
The sticker to install is not necessarily easy. It might be helpful to glue the stones prior to assembly.
The figures do not like nich. It's nice that you tried through ball joints to give more freedom of movement, but because they are partly very shaky and see in my opinion grotesque. but who knows Kre-O knows what he is getting into.
CONCLUSION:
Not bad. The stones work not as high as that of the well-known Danish manufacturer, but are also not too far from it. Everything fits together and also holds.
Plus: where do you get a decent bird of prey from plug-in modules and a Bat'leth for minifigures? I have it get for a good 18, where I think that it's a really good price.
