My by far the most important criterion of purchase decision was the image quality and is compatible with this camera really very good.
Have you with my old Finepix Z1 in various lighting situations, different ISO settings (100 to 800) compared both with and without flash. The F100FD is better in all areas to worlds.
-Pictures Are much more detail at low ISO levels and have better color fidelity.
-Wesentlich Lower noise at higher ISO levels
-The display is incredibly much sharper than that of the Z1.
-Up ISO 400 noise is at the F100FD for me not an issue
Tip: In Chrome screen mode (ie richer stronger colors) Makes My F100FD the ISO value often one step lower than the standard screen. (Eg ISO 100 instead of ISO 200 in standard mode)
For DR is not quite as effective but still much better than the Z1
In a further comparison with the DMC-TZ3 the noise performance of F100FD is also better.
Wanted me first a Panasonic or Canon buy and am glad that I bought Z1 despite the rather bad experience with my old Fuji Fuji F100fd this.
Very good Bildqulität for a 12MP camera, great opt. Zoom range of 28-140mm (5x) give 5 points.
Operation, Video and Lanzeitbelichtung to 8 seconds, I would be only 3.5 to 4 points, but these criteria are me not nearly as important as the image quality.
