For Design: The kettle is very noble. The disk on which to set the water jug is made of dark glass. Very pretty. The pot itself is made of polished stainless steel. At the bottom of the kettle, the stainless steel is brushed but when the edge is dull.
The polished stainless steel is of course very nice, but very, very prone to fingerprints and water spots. I think that, unfortunately, not nice at all
Unfortunately, there is no scale. On the inside of the kettle there is a protruding needle, which indicates the limit of the water be filled. That's a pity, because in my old kettle I had an externally visible scale, so I knew exactly how much water do I need for this or that. But I think this will then also come with time so.
it would theoretically fit a lot more water in the pot, but will probably be just as little, so it does not splash on the cover when cooking
The cover is also made of dark glass. Looks really very, very chic. There is a button on the handle, which allows you to quickly open the lid. To close the lid you have to unfortunately again use the fingers and either press the glass lid (after a cooking process but is slightly warm) or on the small silver knob (a small increase or a kind of application in the size of a button, I would say ) provided that you probably do not pats on the glass, press. The Silver Button is however just like the rest of the kettle in stainless steel and after the first closing of the lid you can see the fingerprint.
Quite well, I find that one under the base of the can roll out the glass long enough cable. Because the glass is so dark you can see the cable from not really.
Because the pot the kettle on the base must comply with any particular position, you can really unwind the cable to the desired length.
All in all I give well-intentioned 4 stars. The kettle is doing what he is really nice fast and is super processed. It also looks great. By susceptibility to dirt / fingerprints, etc. I am unfortunately not really convinced of it. I also I think it's a pity that you, the Black Glass-Edition as little sees him. With an electric kettle in this price range I would have liked a little more actual glass. A friend also has a kettle made of glass, which is, however, clear glass, so I had just wanted a little more glass in this series.
Oh, forgot to date: The kettle is pretty fast and the volume is perfectly okay.
