Who loves swinging jazz piano, does not look for the big names in the States, Paul, it may just as well or even better! Goodness has this in the truest sense of the word "old jazzman" still got it. Transparent and with absolute nonchalance he brings the pieces to be heard and swings, there's no tomorrow. Should definitely be mentioned: The album is hervoragend recorded and mixed. I know a few trio recordings, where the bass comes across as clean and "stand in the living room" Wings and drums live. Five star test drive for the High End! Since the good old MPS plates have found a worthy successor! Unfortunately, the good Paul passed away in September 2013. This album is his legacy!
