"LEGACY / MASTERPIECE THE FALKEN"

Falco Symphonic (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Republication of single Falco concert from 1994 with a large orchestra in Wr.Neustadt than hybrid of live album and a new studio recording from 2008 for the 10th anniversary / death of hawks. Falco's original song was isolated from the live sound and subsequently mixed to new orchestral recordings. The result fits like the fist on the eye and has simply hewed me off my feet. Falco pop rough diamonds getting so a whole new, bombastic and highly dramatic touches and created between Viennese waltz and oblique strings accents an opera ball-mature atmosphere that is unparalleled. "The Commissioner" shines in a brilliant pop / symphonic version that eclipses all remixes repeatedly published the Megahites. The same applies to the hit "Rock me Amadeus", "Titanic", "Night Flight"
"Dance Mephisto" and "Les Nouveaux Riches" that blend the great musical symphony. The 4 bonus tracks not from the live concert of Wr.Neustadt but are subsequently orchestral edited live recordings of other performances where the guitar-driven "heroes of today" and "Ganz Wien" works excellent manner and the originals leaves with open mouth. Falco's estate manager and bandleader Thomas Rabitsch succeeded with this studio / live symphonic experiment a true masterpiece, that has no equal, and Falco's old pop gems can shine in new splendor. The only legacy that the hawks in retrospect is a monument to him and certainly would provoke enthusiasm, I take my hat in front.
