About a month ago I have gained this battery for my Metz MB 58 AF-2, because I was very unhappy just in this very strong flash to the yield and the recharge of Mignon. Although I had read here on several occasions that no appreciable reduction in the recharge was noted, but worse than with Mignon could not at least be. The first very nice surprise for me there was the same for commissioning: Unlike most flash units by Metz is operated without additional batteries with the battery pack. For me, now an almost indispensable aspect. Namely've already colleagues met with very great, freshly charged battery pack, which suddenly found that the batteries in the Blitz were empty and nothing was more. The yield is undoubtedly hundreds of lightning, even though I did not exactly count. For me it is also very gratifying that the recharge time from Metz is more significantly reduced as, regardless of the required light output. The stated values of this product description are similar to what I've found / battery combination with my flash. Could possibly be that in other flashes the batteries in the flash adversely affect this value if the are a bit tiring.
For me, the only one little "flaw" is the plug in the battery, which is a bit bulky and has appeared as if he could easily be solved with a jerk. If this happens has not yet, however. The weight of the battery and the mounting option with clip and strap are perfectly fine for me.
I am far from this PowerBlock downright enthusiastic, particularly in the extremely low price compared to other manufacturers. Therefore, he is a strong buy recommendation for the combination with a Metz for me.
